Welcome to Aerosol

MSP uses its expertise in micro/nano particles to design, develop, and manufacture instruments for aerosol research and measurement. Our instruments are precise, accurate and user friendly. They include, among others, the following:

  • Cascade impactors to collect size-fractionated aerosol particle samples for gravimetric and/or chemical analyses from 10nm to 18,000nm at sampling flow rates from 2 L/min to 100 L/min
  • Micro-Orifice, Uniform Deposit Impactors (MOUDI™, MOUDI-II™, MiniMOUDI™ and NanoMOUDI™) for high-accuracy air sampling in laboratory research and air pollution, air quality and climate studies.
  • Virtual-impactor concentrators for creating a concentrated aerosol stream for biological detection
  • Personal samplers and micro-environmental monitors for PM2.5 and PM10 sampling
  • Wide-range Particle Spectrometer (WPS™) for counting and sizing aerosol particles from 10nm to 10,000nm by laser light scattering, differential mobility analysis and condensation particle counting
  • Condensation particle counter with a built-in diluter for single particle counting at concentrations up to 1.5x108 particles/cc and up to 15,000-to-1 in dilution
  • Aerosol Generator and Monitor (AGM™) System for generating monodisperse and polydisperse aerosols with stable and monitored aerosol output for laboratory research and industrial applications.
